# Create Terms & Conditions sets for quotes

The Terms & Conditions section on Settings -> Quotes is where you create the sets of terms your team can choose from when building a quote; they appear at the bottom of the quote. Add Terms & Conditions to create a set with a name and content, then Save it on the card; the edit and delete controls change or remove a set. The content editor supports rich text — bold, italics, underline, headings, lists, divider lines, and tables — and that formatting appears on the quote exactly as you see it (see [Format descriptions and terms with rich text](/revenue/quotes/format-descriptions-and-terms-with-rich-text.md)).

You can keep more than one set (for example, standard and commercial). Because a quote requires terms before it can be saved, having at least one set here is what lets your team finish quotes.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://learn.withessential.com/administration/settings/create-terms-and-conditions-sets-for-quotes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
