# Verify the email address Essential sends from

The Sending email card controls the address Essential sends your quotes, invoices, and customer messages from, and shows whether it's Not verified, Pending verification, or Verified.

You can verify a single address - Essential emails a confirmation link you click to authorize it - or verify your whole domain, which signs every email with DKIM for the best deliverability by adding the shown DNS records at your DNS host (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.) and then verifying.

Save the business email in the Contact section first, since this card connects and verifies your saved sending address. Until you connect your own address, Essential sends on your behalf from a verified address with nothing for you to set up.
