Use Customer Billing or set Property Billing

Every property starts with Customer Billing. That means the payment terms, tax-exempt status, autopay, processing-fee waiver, billing address, and payment methods set on the customer apply to the property too.

If a property needs different billing details, open the Billing panel and choose Set Property Billing. The form starts with the customer's current settings so you only need to change what is different. The billing section title shows which settings are in effect: Customer Billing or Property Billing.

Use Edit Customer Billing or Edit Property Billing to change the settings currently in effect. To switch a property back, choose Use Customer Billing and confirm. This removes the billing settings saved specifically for the property; future customer billing changes will apply to it again.

If your business allows processing-fee waivers, both forms also offer Never charge processing fees, which makes new invoices start with fees waived. Like payment terms, Property Billing's choice overrides the customer's, and Set Property Billing starts from the customer's current choice. See Waive processing fees on an invoice.

If your business has Purchase Order capture turned on (the Custom Fields tab under Settings → Quotes or Settings → Invoicing), both forms also offer a Default PO Number that prefills onto new quotes and invoices — the property-level value overrides the customer's. The property's Billing panel also holds a Purchase Orders section showing the saved purchase orders usable on that property — its own plus the customer-wide ones (see Put a customer purchase order on an invoice). This section only appears when your business has Purchase Order capture turned on and you have View Invoice; adding or editing a purchase order also needs Create Invoice. Collapsed, the Billing row shows a short summary of the terms, custom prices, and purchase orders in effect.
