# See and browse all your properties

The Properties page opens with your active properties. Use the **Active**, **Inactive**, and **All** filters above the table to switch between properties currently in service, inactive properties, or every property. Each row shows the property's Name, Address, Status (**Inactive** for inactive properties, blank for active properties), Notes, and the Customer it belongs to. After a second office is added in Business Profile, the table also shows an **Office** column with the office the property uses, including an inherited customer office or **Main office**. Click a column header to sort by it (the list opens sorted by Name), and click a row to open that property.

The New Property button in the top right starts a new one. Next to it, the "..." menu exports the list currently selected: active properties, inactive properties, or all properties. The export action's label matches the selected filter. Click the magnifying glass above the table to search property names, addresses, customer names, or notes across all pages. Search keeps your selected status filter. Click a result to open it. [Learn about table search](/getting-started/getting-started/search-tables.md).

> **Where to find it:** Main navigation → Customers, then **Properties** in the submenu (it appears only while you're in the Customers area)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://learn.withessential.com/customers-and-work/properties/see-and-browse-all-your-properties.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
